- We recommend hosing down the awning on a monthly basis - this will help prevent dirt from embedding into the fabric and eliminate the need for deep cleaning (if needed use a soft bristle brush)
- For tough cleaning for dirt and mildew: use a soft bristle brush, mild soap and water. Allow the soap to soak into the fabric.
- If needed: use diluted bleach and water for those stubborn stains or mildew, make sure to rinse thoroughly.
- DO NOT leave the awning extended when you are not home or it is not in use
- DO NOT leave the awning extended if severe weather is predicted (severe winds or heavy rains)
- DO NOT hang anything from the awning - it may cause the awning to collapse or break
- Do retract your motorized awning with the manual overdrive if you lose power
